A good stop off
I don't think of this as Blandford at all but its here, and I've been there so I'll review it! This place used to suffer against the more popular World's End just a few hundred yards down the road. Since the World's End turned into a 'tourist trap' pub (unbelievable prices and a heavy focus on food) "The Bot" as its known locally has had a rennaissance. They've managed to hang on to their 3 course meal for a tenner deal, which is great value and the food is not bad.

good food
This has had some really good write ups lately, especially for the food, which is great. The pub doesn't look great from the outside - a roadside inn of sorts - but it's worth stopping off for a bite and some ale.
