I wanted to put these up before Christmas but a lorry took out a telegraph pole at the end of my road and I had no internet for the last week!

But doesn't that suggest that their shops aren't really viable businesses? I mean, if you're relying on seasonal sales to get you through the year, that's a dangerous game to be playing. Christmas sales should be a bonus for a retailler, not the be all and end all.

It's a tough time to be a high street shop. Without these big seasonal pushes a lot more wouldn't surviv.e
