    Everyone assumed that the council would only let one planning application go ahead which means either a) ASDA is scuppered or b) the council is actually perfectly happy for both supermarkets to go ahead. I suspect the latter is true, it'll just depend whether ASDA thinks it can compete with a bigger tesco than it originally factored in.

    Yeh I think now maybe Asda will try for a bigger store so they can compete with the non food items that Tesco is now going to sell
