THE GET MENTORING PROJECT.
The aim of the project is to recruit, train and deploy 150 business mentors with Institute of Enterprise and Entrepreneurs (IOEE) part of the Get Mentoring initiative, by the end of March 2012. Through SFEDI a variety of mentor training has been developed, accompanying resources and a virtual learning environment available. The training will allow you to deliver mentoring to any type of micro, small and medium sized business and will be available to you free of charge.
Following your training and successful completion of the short multiple choice questionnaire you will be issued with an online SFEDI Certificate of Recognition and will have mentor status in our mentoring community. You will then need to complete your mentor profile so this can be visible to potential mentees.
Once recognised as a mentor we ask that you commit at least one hour a month free mentoring over the next 2 years (or equivalent).
