Police in Dorset are renewing their appeal for
-
Helen Van-Duivenbode.
public help to find a 28-year-old woman who has been missing from her
home for the last three weeks – with a new picture of the missing woman
being released.
Helen Van-Duivenbode, of Okeford Fitzpaine, near
Blandford, was last seen on Monday, 20 December 2010. Her family
reported her missing ten days later.
Officers believe that the missing woman may be staying with friends in the Bournemouth area.
Sergeant Andy Cutler, of Bournemouth and Poole
police, said: “Following further enquiries, I am now able to release a
new picture of Helen. This photograph was taken much more recently than
the previously released image and, as a result, is a much better
likeness.
“We continue to urge anyone who knows of Helen’s whereabouts to get in touch immediately.
“Helen’s family are desperate to speak with her and check that she is ok.”
Helen is white, around five feet six inches tall, with shoulder length black hair and brown eyes.
It is not known what she was wearing when last seen.
Speaking last week, Helen's parents, Bernhard and
Alexandra Van-Duivenbode, said: “Dearest Helen, please get in touch
with us, your mum and dad. We love you. Your girls are missing you
dreadfully and wish to speak with you. We all long to hear that you are
alright. Love mum and dad.”
Sergeant Cutler added: “I would like to hear from
anyone who has seen Helen, or had any sort of contact from her, since
Monday, 20 December 2010.
“Any information could help us to trace her in order to make sure that she is safe and well.”
Anyone with any information or knowledge as to
Helen’s whereabouts should call Dorset Police on 01202 or 01305 222
222. Incident number: 30:221.

ReportCome on, someone must know where she is? Just make a phone call so her family can stop worrying. It's the not knowing that is the hardest thing to deal with.
