A father has issued an impassioned appeal to his daughter who went missing from near Blandford almost two weeks ago.

Victoria Carpenter, 15, of Eastleigh in Hampshire, was last seen at Tarrant

Hinton on Sunday, 5 September 2010. She had visited the Great Dorset

Steam Fair.

Police in Blandford are becoming increasingly concerned for her safety.

The think she may be in Lincolnshire.

Police Constable Dave Pearce said: "I understand that Victoria may have left the area with a young man and her bank account activity suggests that she is now in the Skegness area.

"It may be that she is camping or staying at a local bed and breakfast and I'd ask managers and owners of such businesses to be particularly vigilant."

Victoria is white, five feet ten inches tall, with long dark hair.

In a personal appeal to Victoria, her father, who does not wish to be named, said: "If you feel you cannot speak to a family member, please contact the police.

"Vicki, go into any police station and give them your details so that they can confirm to your mother and I the good news that you are alive and well.

"I am sure if there are any issues you have with us, they can be resolved.

"Let someone know if you need help. Do not feel alienated and alone.

Everybody misses you, especially your brothers who do not understand where you have gone. Your mother and I love you very much. Please do the right thing and make contact, even if it is via the police.

"We need to know you are safe and well."

Anyone with any information or who knows where Victoria is should call Dorset Police on 01202 or 01305 222222.

That's really good news. I hope she realises how much stress and anguish she put her parents through.

Thank God she's been found, what a nightmare for her family and friends to have to live through, so often it seems the missing young people never come back. I wish them all luck for the future
