Appeal after burglary near Blandford

appealing for witnesses and information following a burglary at a home
address in the village of Milborne St Andrew.
The incident, in which offenders
stole a watch and a small amount of cash from an address in the Bladen
View area, is believed to have occurred sometime between 8.15am and
7.30pm on Thursday, 16 December 2010, while the homeowner was out.
Police Constable Stewart Gates,
of Blandford Police, said: “If anyone has any information, or saw
anything or anyone suspicious in or around the village on Thursday, 16
December I need to hear from them.
“I’d also like to remind residents to take care and ensure all doors, windows and gates to your home are locked.
“Check that the garden is clear
of objects that can be used to break doors and windows, remove anything
that aids climbing and do not leave bags, purses, keys or valuables on
view near doors and windows.”
Local officers
have conducted house to house enquiries in the area and have been
providing reassurance to residents following the burglary.
