Time running out for Blandford Town Councillor Nominations

Those wishing to nominate themselves for Blandford Forum's Town Councillor positions have until noon on Monday 4th April to submit their papers.

Anyone with a strong interest in representing the community is elligible to nominate themselves and it's a great opportunity to make a real difference to the town.

Blandord Town Council has sixteen sitting councillors who are responsible for many of the things that are useful or beneficial to the community, such as the Corn Exchange, recreation grounds, the allotments, the cemetary, public toilets and Woodhouse Gardens. In addition the council operates as a consultant for North Dorset District Council and Dorset County Council in matters that concern the town.
