50 Year Old Man found with head injuries outside Blandford Pub

BLANDFORD FORUM - Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a 50 year old man was discovered with serious head injuries on the pavement outside the Stour Inn Pub today (Sat 4th Feb) at 2.15am.

The injured man, who is from Blandford, was taken to Dorset County Hospital where he is reported to be in a serious, but stable, condition.

Detective Sergeant Paul Auger said, "It is not clear how the man suffered his injuries. I would urge anyone who witnessed an incident around the Dorchester Hill area of Blandford, near to the Stour Inn pub, to contact Dorset Police urgently."

Detective Auger stressed the importance of finding out exactly how the man suffered his injuries.
